Brings Two You ("we", "our", or "us") operates the KiraZakat mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

KiraZakat is a zakat (Islamic alms) calculator designed for the Malaysian market. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Calculation Data: The zakat-related financial figures you enter (income, savings, gold weight, etc.) are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to these figures.
• Optional Profile Information: If you choose to provide your name, email address, or state of residence through the Settings screen or Issue Report feature.
• Issue Reports: When you submit a report or suggestion, we collect the information you include in that submission (title, description, email).

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version — collected for crash reporting and analytics.
• Advertising Data: AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant advertisements. Please see Google's privacy policy for details.
• Crash Reports: Firebase Crashlytics collects crash logs and device state when the app encounters an error.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To operate the App: Perform zakat calculations, display results, and save your calculation history.
• To improve the App: Analyse crash reports and usage patterns to fix bugs and enhance features.
• To communicate: Respond to your issue reports and feedback.
• To show ads: Serve non-intrusive banner ads via Google AdMob to support the free version of the App.

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Your zakat calculations, saved history, theme preference, and language selection are stored on your device using SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it (e.g., via WhatsApp export).

Firebase: If you submit an issue report, the report (including your email if provided) is stored in Firebase Firestore. We use anonymous Firebase Authentication to secure this data. Only authorised administrators can view issue reports.

Security Measures: We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. Firebase services are encrypted in transit using TLS.

5. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Crashlytics) — for issue reporting and crash analysis.
• Google AdMob — for serving advertisements. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers to deliver personalised ads.
• Google Play Services — for in-app reviews and app distribution.

These third parties have their own privacy policies governing the use of your data. We encourage you to review them.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or with your explicit consent.

7. Your Rights

• Access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You can update your profile information within the App's Settings.
• Deletion: You can clear all locally stored data via the App's settings or by uninstalling the App. Firebase-stored issue reports can be deleted by contacting us.
• Opt-out: You may opt out of personalised advertising via your device's ad settings.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is rated for ages 3+ and is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us to have it removed.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
